Configure and maintain one or more enterprise applications and maintenance processes used to meet the organization?s on-going SAP information needs. Set work assignments and priorities for other SAP configurators. Deliver SAP FI/CO, MM and SD configuration in a manner that produces value-adding, timely and cost effective results.
Major Responsibilities: The role of the Finance Business Systems Analyst will involve design and configure the FI/CO modules of SAP. 5-7 years
Responsibilities include:
Deliver high-quality configuration that meets business needs on a timely basis. Work with the Finance and Accounting Operations to design and deliver solutions that fit within the established architecture guidelines. Ensure the completion of SAP FI/CO, MM/PP, SM and SD modules deliverables, ensuring that they are coordinated with and meet the requirements of the business users. Manage technically complex configuration assignments.
Develop and deliver on FI/CO, MM/PP, SM and SD modules and identify and implement improvement plans where appropriate. Own the resolution of problems as it pertains to assigned SAP configuration. Work with Accounting Operations to continuously reduce the number of support issues and improve client satisfaction.
Work with the Accounting Operations global user community in understanding requirements and issues and working towards resolving the same.
Work with a team of highly skilled business analysts across FI/CO, MM/PP, SD and SM modules of SAP and also working with ABAP developers in implementing various solutions.
Skills/Knowledge:
Requires bachelor?s degree or foreign equivalent degree in accounting or a related field plus 3 years experience in Accounting Operations. Also, 3-5 years experience as an SAP FI/CO business analyst or consultant is required. Requires good working knowledge of SAP FI/CO modules and needs to have hands-on configuration experience. Knowledge of SAP security set-up is a plus. Ability to communicate effectively and experience in documenting requirements and specifications is essential. SAP BW, Workflow or Project management skills are not essential, but desirable. Project management skills, though not essential is desirable.
