Job Description
|
The Esperance Port Authority’s rapidly expanding operations require the support of a permanent, fulltime IT Manager to deliver the required level of IT support and functionality as the business transitions to a land/sea port logistics hub.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this position will be responsible for planning and developing appropriate IT systems and ensuring they are delivered and supported cost effectively, securely and within the Port’s policy & governance framework.
The successful candidate will be offered an attractive package with salary sacrificing opportunities and a 5 year renewable contract. Please note that contract provisions preclude for the term of employment the undertaking of or interest in any other business or profession.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate:
• Relevant tertiary degree or equivalent industry experience
• Proven experience in installing, administering & maintaining network & communication systems & infrastructure including software & hardware configurations
• Sound project management experience
• Strong stakeholder management & liaison skills
Experience in the transport / logistics or maritime industries including knowledge of cargo terminal management software will be favourably considered.
