POSITION DESCRIPTION: 1- Provide primary installation, configuration and administration support of BEA WebLogic and BEA AquaLogic product family.
2- Assess and implement integration solutions including a security framework.
3- Troubleshoot/resolve production environment problems.
4- Perform capacity planning, system tuning and preventive maintenance.
5- Assist in developing and deploying web services.
6- Lead the efforts in deploying SOA and provide knowledge transfer on SOA technologies.
7-Mentor young engineers and plan their on-the-job and formal training.
SELECTION CRITERIA:
1-Successful candidate should show the ability to hold a key role within the team using advanced knowledge to configure, deploy, tune, and troubleshoot WebLogic application/system level production issues in a UNIX WebLogic environment and in LINUX clustered environment.
2-Proven track record of being able to interface with many cross-functional groups and levels within the organization.
3-Ability to take a leading role in planning and execution of WebLogic version and patch deployments.
4-Certified WebLogic Administrator and Solaris or LINUX Administrator.
5-Experience in tuning WebLogic with Oracle 10g and Documentum, and experience with SUN Java Access Manager and LDAP would give the candidate an advantage.
Qualifications required:
1-BS Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent Engineering degree..
2-Must be certified as WebLogic Administrator.
3-Must be certified as Solaris and Windows Administrator. 4-Must have at least two SOA implementation experiences.
Skills, experiences required:
1-Must have at least 10 years of general IT experience with emphasis on web technology & UNIX/LINUX administration.
2-Must have at least 5 years of BEA technology relevant experience, WebLogic versions 8 & 9.
3-Must have web development skills.
4-Must have excellent analytical skills.
5-Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
6-One or more of the following is very desirable: - Some experience with Oracle DBMS. - Some experience with Documentum administration. - Some experience with Sun Java Access Manager. - Some experience with LDAP & iPlanet.
