Data Migration Architect Leading global consultancy financial services Large program of mission critical work 12 month fixed term contract $120k - $130k p a My client, a leading global consultancy is seeking a Data migration Architect to work on a major migration project within financial services. As the lead architect for the Data Migration stream you will be able to understand the source and target systems and align the data migration methodology based on project needs. To be successful you will need: To have worked on at least one? large scale Data Migration project, ideally? Mainframe migration, with sound knowledge of Data Migration concepts Have experience with IBM Information server or any of the data migration ETL tools (Datastage, Informatica etc) Be able to understand the source and target systems and align the data migration methodology Must have worked with the on site - offshore work model Be able to guide the team on IBM Information Server and other leading Data Migration tool sets Have excellent communication skills Ideally come from an investment banking financial services background This is an initial 12 month fixed term contract, with opportunity to continue on longer term.
